In The Mood Live - National Tour
"Two female vocalists (Emilie Bienne and Brittney Leigh Morton) stood out during a mash-up of "Skylark" and "Mood Indigo." These chicks have got some big voices that are totally made to be on stage! The songs were beautifully arranged, and what started out as a soothing melody turned into a power ballad."

I Love A Piano-
For her part, Morton and her rich soprano shine with “Let Yourself Go” and “Say It Isn’t So” as well as the top-tapping title tune (and show finale) “I Love a Piano.”

Brittney Morton is a beautiful powerhouse as Princess Fiona, who has a deep, dark (well, green-faced) secret of her own. Morton, seen here previously in “White Christmas” and “Little Women,” gives Fiona elegance, but keeps her down-home and approachable. She’s been waiting for Prince Charming so long, she’s a little needy, but Morton never allows her to seem desperate. Her lyrical “I Know It’s Today” about her rescue and the jaunty “Morning Person” show her thrilling range, strength and control.

White Christmas-
Brittney Morton, last seen as Jo in Crown’s “Little Women,” is a wise-cracking, would-be femme fatale with a strong, colorful, comfortable voice as Judy, Betty’s younger sister, who doesn’t need quite as much chaperoning as her sister imagines. Morton shines as the sexy girl-next-door when paired with Consiglio for “The Best Things Happen When You’re Dancing” and “I Love a Piano.” By design, Judy and Phil are supposed to play second fiddle to Bob and Betty, but Morton and Consiglio don’t quite let that happen. - The Wichita Eagle The Wizard of Oz- "Brittney Morton, as Dorothy, has the biggest and most challenging role. She handles it with aplomb, maintaining an equable balance between insecurity and self-confidence, with the latter quality triumphing!" -The Weekly Sentinel, Kennebunkport, Maine Soul of Motown- "Love, love, love this show! Brittney Morton, who sings Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and sings a tribute to Whitney Houston, is exceptional! Her voice will captivate you like no other." -TripAdvisor.com "Best show in Pigeon Forge, TN! You will love it! The female star singing Whitney, Etta, and Aretha; Brittney Morton-she has soul! What a lovely, talented young lady." -TripAdvisor.com "A must see in Tennessee! This is the best show in the Smokies. Brittney Morton who sang Whitney Houston's, I Will Always Love You, brought the house down!" -TripAdvisor.com |
Little Women-
"Brittney Morton, a New Yorker making her Crown debut, is irrepressibly spunky as Jo March, a free-thinking tomboy who swears she will never marry because she is “not built for gowns.” She aspires to write swashbuckling, blood-and-guts tales for popular magazines but makes her biggest splash when she writes about her sisters’ lives, loves, losses and devotion to each other – which, of course, becomes “Little Women.”
Morton is a dynamo who probably could generate enough power to light the stage on her own. But she has the grace and poise to keep that enthusiasm from spinning out of control. And, boy, can she sing. Her crisp and clear voice has the sensitivity to project just the right emotion, whether joking with her sisters (“Our Finest Dreams”) or yearning for a career (“Fire Within Me”) or finally finding unexpected love (“Small Umbrella in the Rain”). Oddly, her highlight number, “Astonishing,” is a power anthem unlike anything else in the score that comes out of nowhere to close Act 1 with a bang (think “Defying Gravity” from “Wicked”). It’s an unexpected jolt but a welcome one." - The Wichita Eagle Crazy for You -
"The Follies Girls were led by dance manager Tess (Brittney Morton). She was an effortlessly engaging dancer and stage presence." -The Portland Phoenix Review
America's Hit Parade - A - Celebration of the 1950s - 1980s
"AHP is a top notch show, rated one of the best in Pigeon Forge. You will be dancing in your seats as you travel through the decades. The energy is amazing, and the costume changes are flawless-two hours plus of non-stop entertainment. They should give Brittney her own show! That girl rocks!!" -TripAdvisor.com
